Fortnite has officially announced that the Man of Steel is coming to the game on July 11.
The game is also going to receive “Superman’s Call” crystal, which will spawn in every Battle Royale and Zero Build match. Whoever finds the crystal first, will gain Superman’s abilities, such as flying, heat vision and his strength. If the player with Superman’s powers gets beaten, they will transform back to their normal self.
Superman’s Fortress of Solitude is also coming to the game. In exchange for bars, you will be able to get Superman’s services.
Superman pack
Players who own the Super Battle pass will be able to get the Superman skin by earning 12 account levels. By reaching the rest of the account level goals, players will be able to unlock accessories such as:
- Daily flight glider
- Super Cape Black Bling
- Crystal Smasher pickaxe
- Super Save emote and more
The goals will be completable until chapter 6 of Fortnite Battle Royale ends.
Apart from Superman, Mister Terrific and The Engineer are also going to be coming to the game. The outfits for both the characters will be available in the shop from July 10.
Academy tech labs
More academy tech labs are also going to be opened up on the game. One of the items which players will be able to purchase from the lab is the exotic unstable bounce grenade and the exotic unstable thunderclap DMR.
A new boon called the Surging Speed is also coming. Players will be able to find this boon in chests or at academy tech labs. This boon will allow players to sprint faster and consume less energy.
Fortnite has been collaborating with a lot of franchises recently. The game recently got Darth Jar Jar and a Star Wars themed battle pass for its Galactic Battle season.
