2025 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series | Preview | Race 15: Michigan International Speedway – iRacing.com

The eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series Playoffs have arrived! On Tuesday night, all 40 of the best eNASCAR drivers will take to Michigan International Speedway for a 70-lap clash around the 2-mile, D-shaped oval in Brooklyn, Michigan.

Steven Wilson enters the Playoffs with the momentum in his court, with six wins over the first 14 races. The most recent win, however, belongs to Bobby Zalenski at Pocono two weeks ago. Will both be able to continue their successes, and qualify for the Championship 4 with a win this week, or can any of the other Playoff competitors punch their ticket right away?

Race coverage begins at 8 p.m. ET at eNASCAR.com/live and across iRacing social media channels. Tune in 30 minutes earlier to catch the Countdown to Green at 7:30 p.m. ET.

LAST RACE

Two weeks ago at Pocono Raceway, the Playoff field was confirmed after 60 laps around the Tricky Triangle. A new winner could have forced out Jordy Lopez or Dylan Duval, but with Bobby Zalenski taking control early until the checkered flag, it came down to points. With Duval taking a sixth place run, the playoffs remained the same as how they entered, and those 10 drivers will fight for their right to race for a championship over the next three races, starting tonight at Michigan.

LAST YEAR

While the 10-driver Playoff round is a win-and-in system, the first race of the 2024 series didn’t go to a driver racing for a title. Parker White nearly got the win, which would have been his first and an early catapult to his eventual championship, but instead, it was JR Motorsports’ Briar LaPradd claiming the victory for the first time in his career, just barely despite having damage on his nose coming to the checkers.

PLAYOFF PREVIEW

The 10 drivers fighting to make the Championship 4 this year include five winners from the Regular Season and five drivers who raced their way in via points. Steven Wilson, Tucker Minter, Bobby Zalenski, Vicente Salas, and Kollin Keister all claimed wins throughout the year and enter with at least five Playoff Points. Wilson, with six wins and two Segment wins, will have 40 Playoff Points in his court should he fail to win one of the next three races.

Zack Novak, the Segment 1 winner, also enters with five Playoff Points despite not having a win. Casey Kirwan, Parker White, Jordy Lopez, and Dylan Duval all will start the round with no bonus points. A win gets a driver into the Championship 4, but at least one spot will belong to a driver on points. If Wilson wins, the points battle could be tight for that final spot.

TRACK FACTS

Breaking ground in September of 1967, and opening just over a year later, Michigan International Speedway currently exists on the NASCAR schedule as one of the fastest ovals in the United States. The 2-mile, D-shaped venue hosts both NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series events every season, as well as the ARCA Menards Series, and has welcomed many other top-level series over the past half-century.

NEXT RACE

Following Michigan, the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series Playoffs continue with the 16th round of the season at Texas Motor Speedway on September 2nd. Last season, Steven Wilson was able to win his way to the Championship 4 in convincing fashion at the 1.5-mile Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas.
